WORKSHOP LESSON LEARNED: FOREST CARBON PARTNERSHIP FACILITY CARBON FUND (FCPF-CF) IN EAST KALIMANTAN

Bogor, March 28, 2020, Another activity from GCF-Task Force in 2019, this workshop has the purpose to learn from East Kalimantan as REDD+ pilot location in Indonesia. The source of funding for the pilot project was from World Bank through FCPF-CF Organization. Participants were from 7 province members of GCF-Task Force, Central Government of Indonesia, World Bank, various NGOs, and many climate change experts. This event was held in Balikpapan on July 29-30 2019. PT. CERIndonesia was appointed by GCF-TF to facilitate the event.

Carbon and Environmental Research Indonesia (CER Indonesia) participating in the 7th annual meeting LoCARNet: Challenge for Asia to meet 1.5oC target. The event was held at Aryaduta Hotel, Jakarta on 21-22 November 2018. This event was organized by IGES, NIES, KLHK, IPB, ITB, INOBU and inviting various climate change experts around the world.

ECONOMICS OF CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION (ECCA) TRAINING PROGRAMME

Bogor, March 12, 2018, On behalf of PT. Carbon and Environmental Research Indonesia (CER Indonesia), Ari Suharto participated the second run of the Economics of Climate Change Adaptation (ECCA) training programme which took place between 26 February and 9 March 2018, at the Sukosol hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. Organized by AIT RRC.AP with partner agencies such as USAID and UNDP the training was attended by 23 participants from 17 countries in Asia including Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Participants are coming from government officers, NGOs and research institutes around Asia.

Bogor, November 14, 2017, PT. Carbon and Environmental Research Indonesia (CER Indonesia) attended the climate change conference, COP 23 held in Bonn, Germany on 6 – 18 November 2017. COP 23 is considered important by CER Indonesia because CER Indonesia is the only carbon and environmental research institution in Indonesia which has a native Indonesian experts with diverse scientific backgrounds and experiences.
