CER Indonesia is committed and builds research for cross-sector development, ranging from energy, waste, agriculture, and forestry.

Financing and funding in climate change action requires considerable resources. Research in investment adjustment of funding needs is certainly necessary to measure the magnitude of changes in the actions taken. From its experience, CER Indonesia has conducted a lot of research on this with national and international parties.

Carbon Credit in the effort to maintain the existence of world forests

Since its establishment, CER Indonesia has been a pioneer and has existed in carbon projects in Indonesia. The carbon market scheme is considered as one of the tools to meet the target of suppressing the rate of climate change below 1.5 degrees. CER Indonesia's expertise in carbon trading issues has been widely used in the form of ongoing consultations and research, such as the development of A/R CDM, Gold Standards, Plan Vivo, and Verra VCS REDD+ projects.

The improvement of the capacity of each actor involved must be carried out effectively in order to successfully suppress the rate of climate change. Knowledge, science, and insight are points of capability that must be possessed by the private sector and society, local and national governments regarding the current climate change issue.
